Actor SHIA LaBEOUF has reportedly been arrested in Hollywood for driving under the influence (DUI) after he was involved in a car accident.
The Transformers champion, 21, is alleged to have collided with some other vehicle at around 3am on Sunday (27Jul08) at the juncture of La Brea and Fountain.
According to website TMZ.com, when police attended to the incident, LaBeouf was reportedly arrested on suspicion of felony DUI after screening "outward signs" of intoxication.
Paramedics were called to the scene and the actor was taken to a local hospital.
LaBeouf is no stranger to the law - in November (07), he was accused of drunken trespassing after refusing to leave a Chicago, Illinois contrivance store at 4am, merely the violation charges were subsequently dropped.
Then, in February (08), he was charged with smoke in a prohibited domain in California - to which he pleaded shamed and was forced to pay a $500 (GBP250) fine for the offense.
His latest legal woe comes just three months after he vowed never to get arrested again - because he didn't want to bond his hopeful film career.
In May (08), he aforementioned, "There's cypher cool about getting arrested for stupid stuff at my long time. But it keeps occurrent to me. I could pretend that I discover it all highly amusive, but I'd be prevarication.
"It's deeply embarrassing. I decided a prospicient time ago to closure doing stupid things, so clearly I've still got some work to do on myself. I'm non anonymous any more.
"Now, I light up a fag in the wrong place and overnight I'm the Al Capone of misdemeanours. What I've got in terms of acting is too authoritative for me to jeopardize."
